INCIDENT LOCATION: Landmark Bank, 1000 Kennesaw Ridge Road.
SUSPECT:
White male, late thirties to early forties approximately 6'03” to 6'06”, 215-250 lbs, possibly had scruffy facial hair and had light hair that was coming out from underneath the hat. Suspect was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and jeans and wore a straw hat, tan in color. The suspect was not wearing gloves and carrying a clear plastic bag armed with an all black colored handgun. He left on foot.
DETAILS OF INCIDENT:
On the above date and time, police received an alarm from Landmark Bank, located at 1000 Kennesaw Ridege Road. Upon officers’ arrival, bank staff indicated that a Robbery had just occurred.
A male suspect entered the bank and walked into the lobby area. He displayed a
handgun and demanded money. The suspect did not make any other threats.
No shots were fired, and no one was injured. The suspect left the bank with an
undisclosed amount of money. He left on foot, in an eastbound direction.
Columbia Police officers and investigators were assisted by the Missouri State
Highway Patrol’s K-9 Unit, which tracked the suspect’s trail eastward to a nearby
parking lot. The FBI is currently investigating this robbery, along with police
detectives.
The suspect is described as a white male in his forties, about 6’1” to 6’3”, 215 to
245 pounds, with sandy red hair. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a
black t-shirt, blue jeans, and a straw-type hat.
On June 23, 2010, the River Region Credit Union located at 2009 Scott Hill Woods Drive was robbed in Jefferson City, MO. The suspect in this incident is quite possibly the same suspect who robbed the Landmark Bank at Kennesaw Ridge. The individual matches the description as well as the exact same apparel and hat the suspect wore when he robbed the Landmark Bank.
