SUSPECT: Black male wearing a tan coat, gray and brown sweatshirt, and blue jeans, 5’8” to 5’10”, 240 lbs.
VICTIM:50 year old female
DETAILS OF INCIDENT:
The suspect attempted entry through the rear door of the residence without success. He then went to the front door and forced entry. Inside the home he encountered the victim in her bedroom. She screamed and the subject fled from the home and ran away on foot. Prior to encountering the victim, it appears the suspect was making preparations to steal property from the residence.
The suspect was seen by a witness running west from the incident location.
At the time of this release the suspect had not been located.
